Japanese Castles

Okay here we are! Lets look at some of the castles I have been to…

上野城

Here is Ueno Castle, Ueno is the town where the ninja originated from.

島原城

Next is Shimabara castle. This castle is in Southern Japan. It was occupied by Lord Matsukura who was infamous for his persecution of Christians.

( This is an actual Samurai home. Next to the castle there is a street

with three actual Samurai homes and a small stream running through it )

( Looking out from the top level, the bulbs are from a festival where the city lights up

the castle at night, so there are strings of bulbs all around it )

姫路城

This is Himeijyo. This is Japan’s best and most beautiful castle. It has been designated a world cultural heritage.

Theirs just to much to write about this castle, so if you’re interested in its history, please go to your local library and check out a book. That’s why it’s there.
