NTP Server Glitches

Several years ago, I helped somebody setup a GPS unit. Since then, we've been trading packets.

The other day, when I looked at some graphs, I noticed that their clock was way off. Investigating more, it was drifting at about 200 ms per day.

My first email got lost. Several days later I tried again and got through. I never heard what was wrong with their system. It had been upgraded to a commercial NTP server.
