It seams that over night the DoZ MB was destroyed, the RP was in place, and the Disciples were deserting.
Sure the Robotech page offered a wealth of information (yet seamed cold and un-friendly in my eyes)
but one can't get the feeling of having their toes stepped on after a three year reign as one of if
not the most popular Robotech site on the net.
Thus began the great reconstruction. It was a quiet time on the front. Not much news, not much interest in Robotech by the fans, and what seams like a stream of different approaches to revitalize the look of the old DoZ page. By now the site had endured two revisions, and an ever present lack luster amount of hits. People were turning to the sites that came up on search string first. The many pages with stolen content "barrowed" ideas, and of course, started with letters before D, or more closely matched the search phrase. During this time, Cartoon Network began airing Robotech, new fans began emerging on the scene, and probably the most tremendous blow, Fer decided to hang up his note pad. The DoZ was founded on the Robotech updates, withought those we were dead in the water. No body could blame him though. What with the fans being un-interested in what he had to say, or un-gratefull for the amount of time put in we were all a little depressed. After four long years we were getting tired of the whole thing. Our interests still burned strong, our desire sorta fizzled out. continue... |
